Fashion for your eyes
Our
mission is to bring fashion to your eyes. Cosmetic contact
lenses extend fashion beyond traditional eye make-up by
allowing you to change the color of your eyes.
However, choosing the right lenses is imperative. The trick
in changing the color of your eyes, especially if they are
naturally dark or brown, is balance. Too much color and the
change look unnatural, too little and the change is
ineffective.
Good
lenses work on the principle of masking your natural eye
color. A 100% replacement of your natural color will look
artificial. A proper balance will provide a definite color
change whilst retaining the natural sparkle in your eye.

Types of
Color Contact Lenses - Opaques vs Tints
There
are 2 basic types of colored contacts, tinted and opaque.
Tinted lenses will blend with your natural eye color, the
final effect will be much harder to predict and the change
more subtle.
Opaque lenses are very effective
for a definite color change especially if you have
dark or brown color eyes.

All lenses on our site
are opaques
Pigmentation & Comfort
There
are again 2 types of opaque lenses, coated and impregnated.
The colors, with impregnated lenses, are enfolded and as
such are part of the lens, not merely coated onto its
surface. You can pick a coated lens by gently rubbing it
between you thumb and forefinger; you will be able to feel
the texture of the pigmentation.
Both
are safe but customer feedback is that impregnated lenses
are much more comfortable. They are less likely to irritate
your eyes and will extend your comfortable wear time.
Impregnated lenses are certainly the way to go if you have
sensitive eyes.

How they
work
A
common misconception is that the entire surface of the
contact lens has a uniform color e.g. the entire lens is
blue for blue contact lenses. This is definitely not the
case.
-
The
pupil area is of course always clear. Otherwise you
would not be able to see.
-
The
final effect of your color change is determined by the
density of color in the iris.
-
100%
pigmentation in the iris section will make your eyes
look very artificial. This is how they achieve the
way-out effects with party and disco lenses.
-
The
trick is to 'mask' your natural color with your desired
color to achieve an optimal color change. Allowing your
own eye to show through brings a natural sparkle to your
eyes.

Safety and Comfort
Your
eyes are your most precious assets. Advances in modern
contact lens technology make correct choice of contact lens
both safe and comfortable.
Your
safety and comfort is paramount. Hygiene and proper care for
your lenses is vital. As responsible vendors, we highly
recommend that you consult your optometrist on a regular
basis.
